Autism & Neurodivergency at Airhouse
Adapted & Individualized
Our adapted services are designed to support neurodivergent youth. Sessions are scheduled during quiet, low-stimulus times to create a predictable and supportive environment. Lessons are delivered in a one-on-one setting, allowing instructors to respond to each young athlete’s individual needs, learning style, and sensory preferences while reducing distractions and overwhelm. Through guided movement and play, participants build spatial awareness, body awareness, confidence, and comfort in physical activity.
Why Alternative Sports?
We specialize in freestyle sports such as Parkour, Skateboarding, and Freestyle Trampoline, all activities that support:
Spatial and body awareness
Balance, coordination, and confidence
Movement without pressure or comparison
These sports offer flexible, engaging ways for kids to explore movement at their own pace.
Supportive Coaching
Our coaches focus on clear instruction, encouragement, and creating a positive experience where progress is personal and confidence comes first.
FUnding for Autism
If you are requesting AFU funding for your child to participate at Airhouse, please complete these initial two steps:
1. Make sure AFU has approved and enrolled your child in the Autism funding ages 6-18 program. *Please note we are not a service provider on RASP so we can only receive funding for children 6 and up.
2. You need to fill out a Request to Pay form. Please email Christina at autismfunding@airhouse.ca so she can give you exact instructions on how to fill this form out. She will also provide you with the next steps.
For any other information regarding autism funding, please contact autismfunding@airhouse.ca.
This is for autism funding requests only. Any other funding requests, please head here for general sports funding.
